Elise Feiersinger

Studied architecture at Rice University, Houston. Elise is active in the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Architektur (Austrian Society for Architecture). She is on the editorial board of the scholarly journal UmBau and co-editor of Bestand der Moderne (Park Books, 2012), a treatise on the refurbishment of modern buildings. In 2017, she teamed up with the critic Otto Kapfinger and film director Caspar Pfaundler to produce a feature-length film on the architect Felix Orsini-Rosenberg. Elise also edited and translated a selection of Hermann Czech’s texts, entitled Essays on Architecture and City Planning (Park Books, 2019). She has held courses at various architecture schools in Austria and currently teaches an undergraduate design studio at the Technische Universität Wien.
